any body who drops $200.00 on a no name dvd player has some serious issues. I'd rather get the x360 add on.
I don't understand how someone can compare Bioshock's graphics to HS. If you're to compare both demos, they both show incredible detail. bioshock is a FPS darker, enclosed with less enemies on screen. Heavenly sword is 3rd person, and the total opposite. They're two totally different games and cannot be compared.
As far as compression goes, i'm against it and would rather a game take an entire BD than having it be compressed to the point where the audio/video takes a performance hit.
bioshock may end up being single player GOTY, but i'd give Warhawk multiplayer GOTY, unless UTIII ends up being better. only time will tell.
if they set-up this game at a gamestop or best buy with four six axis controllers, this game could very well sell systems.
i can understand how some people were mad this game was getting some bad reviews. This game is 9+ in visuals and sound, and 10 in fun factor and replayability. i don't know what else people want.
First thing i thought when i started playing this game was:
I won't be spending all my time playing gears of war any more. IMHO, this game is all that and a bag of chips. WilliamRLBaker, if you got the $40.00 to spare, pick up this game. It's alot of fun, so many ways to die or kill someone for that matter.
Got my first medal also, something Turret. hahaha. I want to keep playing but i need to get up early in the morning. Urrrgh!

i should've kept mine but i gave it away to my ex because she would use it more than me. the poor thing was collecting dust since the games look better upcoverted through the ps3.
PS2 is the undisputed heavyweight champ, it had some awesome, tough contenders, Dreamcast, Gamecube, XboX. and it knocked each one of them out.
i'm sorry, but i don't want the wii to dethrone the mighty ps2, it better be 360 or ps3, but i doubt they will come close :(

i enjoy tekken DR more than VF5, although the graphics are much nicer in VF5, having said that, the ps3 images shown by POW have been doctored. I have brought my ps3 to friends house and in my own, it looks 100% better than the pix POW is showing.
btw, i know it's dusty but shows you i'm no fanboy.

compare these images i just took with my crappy camera to the ones POW showed. I'll test the other stage in a few minutes.
motion control works for games like resistance too, if developers implement it in subtle ways, it can add to the gaming experience. The folklore demo also utilizes it, and it works good IMO.
I laugh at all the xbots who will be sitting at home admiring halo 3 or bioshock while we enjoy our crappy a$$ games. you guys should be enjoying your endless amounts of AAA titles instead of wasting your precious time with insignificant waitstation 3 titles.

AAA or not i have more fun playing this game than anything else out there. I started playing bioshock, but a few minutes later wanted to go back to warhawk. It's that good!
